Summit Explorer is available for Windows and Unix platforms. It can be configured for any database supporting ODBC access.
Summit Explorer comes in two main versions:

Summit Explorer acts as an independent but simple document management system for the management of Board Papers, Annual Reports and other associated material.
It is specifically designed to integrate with any existing Content Management or Document Management system already in use at an organization.
Acting as an independent document repository, documents are stored in a secured area of the file system. Metadata is stored in the database.
