Planning Targets

Schedulers may optionally enter planning targets for schedules in line with the airline’s desired performance. Targets include:

    • target load factor

    • target capacity and aircraft utilisation

    • target financial contribution

    • target market share

    • target frequencies, route by route

An airline can set these targets at the beginning of the planning cycle and use them as a benchmark to review the schedule as it evolves, or after it has operated.

In the Schedule Master this information is known as a Service Plan.
